Enabling push notifications in the app
When you first download and use Cyclefinder, you will be prompted to opt into push notifications. Click “OK” on the pop-up message.
If you clicked “Don’t Allow” but changed your mind and would like to opt into push notifications, you can do this in the Settings on your phone. Open up Settings, select Notifications, scroll down until you find Velespeed, and slide the button to the right to allow notifications. You can select which type of notification alert you’d like to receive. It’s a good idea to opt into push notifications to get important messages about your ride. Currently, Velespeed only sends one notification and it’s a very important one: we’ll tell you when you have successfully docked your bike. This is a great way to confirm that your ride has ended, so you don’t risk walking away from a bike that hasn’t been locked. This could result in usage fees if the bike is unlocked for more than 30 minutes, or a lost bike charge of $1200 if someone then takes your bike and doesn’t return it. -
Keeping track of how long you've had a bike out
There is a ride timer on the mobile app to keep track of how long you’ve had a bike out. In order to use this feature, you must be logged into the mobile app and have push notifications enabled. The timer will automatically start when you unlock a bike and stops when you dock. Don't forget to check for a green light when you dock!

Search Manage my account from the mobile app
